Aisling Bea

Aisling was born on 16 March 1984, on the island of Kildare Ireland. She is one of Ireland's top-rated and well-known comedians. The comedian has appeared on QI with Stephen Fry. Aisling Cliodhnadh Sullivan (born 16 March 1984) who is also known by the name Aisling bea, is an Irish comedian actor, writer and director. Bea was first seen as bit roles in Irish or British TV shows in 2009, started her career by performing stand-up comedy in 2011. Following 2012, she was appearing in sketch comedy shows as well as sitcoms and similar shows. In 2012, after winning an award in the Edinburgh Comedy Awards she began to be booked regularly for numerous panel shows for which she is now a regular. In 2016, and in 2017, she served as a team leader for 8 Out of 10 Cats. Also, she is participant on 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. She is the daughter of Brian O'Sullivan and Helen O'Sullivan. Sinead, her sister, was also born. The only female winner of So You Think You're Funny in the year 2012. The surname she uses is Bea to pay tribute to her late father. Aisling Cliodhnadh was born on the 16th of March, 1984, in Kildare Town, County Kildare. The father of Bea was Brian was a veterinarian for horses that committed suicide when she was just three years old. But, she was not aware of the cause of death until thirteen years later. Bea was her stage name. Bea was a tribute for her father. She was the author of an opinion piece for The Guardian, published in 2017, about her experience with suicide. Bea was fostered by her older sister Sinead with Helen Moloney. Helen is a secondary teacher, jockey trainer, and a former professional racer. Her family were racing and horse-related. Bea had a job as a Tour Guide in the Irish National Stud. From the age of a child, Bea knew that she didn't want the racing industry. She was more interested in the performing arts.
